Young Living December 16 Promos

Young Living has free products with purchases of a certain amount each month. They do this, generally in 3 tiers, with you earning more product as spend more in product. These in the past have generally started at 190PV. In the last several months they have also added an extra bonus on top of these bonuses just for Essential Rewards (ER) members. It already was a sweet deal, I mean I LOVE free oils! Young Living has recently made it even better.

makeoverblog

If you are on essential rewards, the starting threshold to earn free product last month and this month is only 100PV! This is so exciting for two reasons. 1: you need to be on 100pv each month to earn all the bonuses possible on your commission check, so it is just good to get into the habit of spending that much on products you already know you love and will use. 2: as we approach Christmas and this gift-giving season, sometimes we have to trim a bit off our Young Living budget. I mean, not that I want to. I would be on board for a way bigger Young Living budget!

Check out the awesome products offered for December 2016:

Nutmeg:a warm, spicy aroma that is energizing and uplifting (I do need the occasional perk, don’t you?)
NingXia Nitro: supports cognitive alertness and fitness (AMAZING stuff. I used lots when I worked 16 hour shifts. I need it for looooooong days with the kids too. You know what I am saying!)
Excite: A BRAND NEW oil featuring Ocotea, Nutmeg and more (How exciting! I need Excite in my life, I mean who doesn’t want excitement?!)
Abundance: features oils used by ancient cultures to attract prosperity and magnify joy and peace (I love this stuff! At one point I had 3 open bottles!)

Meet the Best People

Young Living is a great way to meet some of the best people!

Jim Rohn is quoted as saying “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”

14225428_10154463786432008_3225565157679853460_n

I have found this to be absolutely true! There was a time that all of my time was spent around negative, unhappy people. During those times I found ever so much to be unhappy about.

Thankfully for me, about six years ago I joined Young Living, and through this amazing company I have met some amazing people. I have posted many times about my dear friend Carrie.

meet best people, jim rohn

I also met her amazing daughter, the now Diamond leader Sara Wallace. Her and I did a vendor booth together years ago which was fun. It has been even more fun to watch her grow into an amazing leader, wife, and mom. She is always learning and growing and challenges those around her to do the same.

My favorite though is one that I met at another vendor booth for a cloth diapering mom’s group. I met my friend Tonya there, among many other people. Who knew then that she would end up being one of my favorite friends?

meet great people, friends, Young Living, jim rohn

That’s the beauty of Young Living. You meet like minded people who have similar goals, so you end up wanting to spend time with them, encouraging them in the pursuit of those goals. You learn and grow together, celebrating the successes of the people you care about.

It’s not just about business, though. When you truly find “your tribe,” you truly value the friendship, you form a true friendship. You share, laugh, and go through the happy and the tough moments of life together. In fact, we recently scheduled time together to work. We ended up doing no work. We talked and watched our kids play together the whole time. All the work was done through text later that evening!

friends, Young Living

Meeting people with goals and vision can help motivate you to find then reach your own goals and vision. The best way to succeed in life is to surround yourself with people who are already successful in the areas of life that you want to improve.

Young Living has them all! I have met faith-filled wives and mothers. I have met influential business leaders. I have met humble home-schooling moms. I have met health gurus. I have also met some of the most giving and generous people I know.

transformation essential oil, best you

I want to be more like all these ladies (well, I am not so sure on the home school business, haha). I admire the amazing ladies I have met through Young Living and value their friendship. I hope to spend more and more time with these kinds of people. They are my tribe. I want to be like them, so I like to spend my time and energy with them.

In Preparation

I posted a few days ago about where my life is headed, and where I feel God is leading me. There is so much I feel He wants me to do eventually. That doesn’t mean I can just sit and relax right now though. This is a season of preparation. So what do I need to do during this season? I am sure God will add some things to my list, but here is what I hear Him say loud and clear:

1. Read My Bible Daily
Hey! I already made a post about that! I need to do this and stick to it daily. Even if it is only a few pages, I trust that God will bless my time spent in His word, even if it is sometimes less than it should be.

ReadBible

2. Read
I have been reading, and will continue to read books on marriage, family, womanhood, and home life. Sure, I have business books in there as I am building a Young Living business, but the bulk of my time needs to be devoted to my home and learning to run it better at the moment.

3. Work
There seems to be a common theme in so many of the verses that have stuck out at me in my reading in the last week or so. It is an area that I feel the Holy Spirit is especially trying to work on in my life. The theme? Laziness. I am so very prone to laziness. I hate admitting that, but the fact is that it is true.

“A lazy person is as bad as someone who destroys things” Proverbs 18:9 NLT

“A little extra sleep, a little more slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest-
then poverty will pounce on you like a bandit; scarcity will attack you like an armed robber.” Proverbs 6:10-11 NLT

“She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness.” Proverbs 31:27 NLT

That second verse has stuck in my head since reading it. Thankfully, it has helped me to get a better start on the day. I have never been a morning person, and I will admit that even now I get the most work done in the evenings, but I have started getting my Bible reading in at a time I would normally rush to bed until my youngest two kids wake up. This has been such a blessing.

14095806_10154436089612008_4631710932981007290_n

Now when I say work, I do not mean that I plan to go back to full, or even part-time employment. I need to be a diligent worker in my home. I need to make my home a place my husband wants to come home to. I need to make my home an environment conducive to learning and growing for my kids. Those two things alone require daily chores to be done.

These are the areas that are most important to me in this season of life, so they require a great deal of time and effort right now.

I intend to build a successful and profitable Young Living business as well. I have a plan in place on being more consistent with my work in this area. I trust the Lord to make my seeds profitable in His time.

New Year of Possibilities!

This time of year there is a great deal of discussion on goals and resolutions for the new year. What do you want to do different in 2015? What changes do you want to make? What steps are necessary to get there? What will you have to sacrifice to make that happen?

2015Res

I have spent a good deal of time considering those same questions. My Young Living team has grown more this year more than it ever has in the years I have been “doing” Young Living. I truly attribute that to the Lord’s provision. The fact though, despite that yesterday I got my biggest Young Living check of the year, is that my current level of income is not enough.

Check

God has given me dreams of my future: of having abundance, and of being able to give back in ways that I am unable to right now. I will also be able to enjoy life with my family much more as I am able to leave a position in which my hours change based on someone else’s needs and desires with complete disregard to my needs and the needs of my family.

The biggest thing though, is having a big enough house to more comfortably fit all my many children, and to be able to help people who are in need. Those things are important to me, and I want to model those that to my children. My children will grow up loving to give as they see me and my husband give generously and joyfully.

GiveMeme

2015 will be a year of significant growth toward the realization of those goals. The thing is, I need a strong team around me to make it. I need people who have dreams, goals, and visions of big things, and of lives changed for the better. I want to help those people achieve their big goals and dreams. Young Living is absolutely a vehicle in getting me, and other leaders there.

I recently had a dynamic young leader join my team. Her excitement and ability give me confidence that my team, with her in it, will grow beyond what I had recently imagined.

Team

The thing is… I need more of her. I need more leaders who are passionate, driven, confident, and Christ-centered.

In order to grow I have made a commitment to work on myself this year. I will work to grow as a leader and teacher. I will also work toward personal growth on the home front. In order to grow so that I can help my teammates grow I will read and listen to podcasts (and attend other trainings as I am able). I will work toward implementing what I learn and teaching what I learn. I will need accountability and will strive to provide accountability as well.

StartNowMeme

This new year is going to be an amazing year of growth, and watching God work in my life and in my business. I am excited to see His hand in the businesses of my teammates as well. I do hope you will join us! Each new team member who joins on wholesale membership with a Premium Starter Kit receives an Essential Oil Pocket reference and support from me and other team members. Build YOUR Dream

Build Your Dream is an essential oil blend unveiled by Young Living at the 2014 convention. When it first became available to those who didn’t attend, it was only available in a limited edition kit that also included a gorgeous 20th Anniversary solid wood oil holder. I was determined to get them, and was able to shortly before the kit became unavailable. It is now available with just the essential oil blend.

AnnivBox

At the post-convention local leadership meeting I was able to listen to my leaders talk about this awesome blend. That was when I knew I had to have this in my home!

My leaders talked about having your own dream: big dreams, big God-given goals and dreams. Many people in business, especially network marketing tend to hang on to the dreams of others. I used to listen to podcasts that were motivation for people in all network marketing. I heard big goals, big dreams. Some were buying their parents houses, some were owning other businesses. These are great goals, exciting goals. They aren’t mine though. Having a big goal and a big vision that is true and specific to only you is a powerful thing. They said that if you didn’t have that yet, to use this oil.

BuildYourDream

At the time my goals weren’t particularly big, exciting, or necessarily unique to me. My goals were, and still are to get to a place financially where I would be able to quit working outside the home full-time. I still have the goal of becoming debt free, and building a bigger house. I dreamed of travel with my family. At the time I said that I wanted the time freedom to be able to pursue midwifery. Those are awesome goals. I am passionate about those goals. They are worthy of pursuing, but they don’t hold much vision. They are also not big enough to sustain me in the long-term.

I hadn’t actually used the essential oil when I first got it. I wanted to save it, for what I don’t know. I spent a considerable amount of time after that meeting thinking about purpose and vision. I wanted my own thing. I prayed for God to reveal a big vision, a purpose to me. I needed something much bigger than myself to work for, a way to give back in a way that I am unable to right now.

IMG_20120926_192949

God provided (even before using the oil)! Once the idea was set in my heart it stayed there persistently. I didn’t mention it to my husband because I figured he would think I was crazy! I didn’t mention it to anyone else because I wanted my husband on board first; it affects our family a lot more than the lives of other people, even those whose opinions I most respect.

I finally revealed my heart and my vision. As suspected, he does think I am crazy! He knows well enough though that if God tells you something, it is best to obey, no matter how wild it may appear. We were able to look at floor plans for future homes as a preparation for when all the goals are met and we are able to proceed with building a bigger house and making this far bigger God-given dream a reality. We were able to pray together about Young Living, about goals, and finances. That was so very refreshing and has left me very excited about moving into the future.

Vision

I finally started using the Build Your Dream essential oil blend. I am super excited about using it while picturing all the exciting things that can happen in our future thanks to the opportunity that Young Living provides. I hope that you will give this oil a try, and start on the path to Build Your Dream.

What big goals do you have? Leave a comment and let me know!

Invest In Yourself

Everyone loves a rags to riches story. It is fun to cheer on the underdog, and to see that person win in the end. We all want to see the loser win, the poor become successful, and the guy get the girl.

What if you could write your own such story? That, to me, is part of the beauty of Young Living! You can write your own story, you can change your life; you can change your destiny. You can create your own transformation!

I am not simply talking about money here. While you can certainly make money with Young Living, your personal growth will be astounding.

In order to be successful in Young Living, and in life in general, one must be committed to personal growth. This takes a considerable amount of time and effort that frankly, most are not willing to commit to. There is a considerable investment in time for reading, and going to classes and conferences. It takes effort to learn about marketing, about building a business.

This investment in time and money can be overwhelming at times, but pays big dividends in the end. The person you are 5 years after you started is a far different person than the person who started. The person you greet in the mirror after five years of personal development and relationship development is far more confident, wiser, business and tech savvy than she was previously. It is an amazing journey that I am excited to be a part of.

There are so many great books to read. The ones I am reading now include the Essential Oil Desk Reference, and The Four Year Career. Both are important books to read when growing your Young Living business.

There are a wealth of webinars that have been recorded from many Young Living leaders, all designed to be teaching tools to help you and me grow our organizations. Yearly Young Living has a large convention, open to all members; Young Living invests in you, they have amazingly inspirational speakers and product information. The resources for growth are endless!

Yes, there is a significant investment, but the end result is well worth the effort. It is all about deciding that YOU are worth it. Won’t you join me? Let’s grow together! We can write our own success stories together!

Life in Four Years

For the last three years I have worked 16 hour shifts on the weekends at my full-time job. Saturday morning I arrive at 6am and stay until 10pm. I go home for a short nap, and then I am back again Sunday morning at 6am, then leave again at 10pm. This only adds up to 32 hours, so I work one eight hour shift on Tuesdays also.

workin

This shift has its advantages in that I have far more time at home with my babies than the average working mom has. It also means we don’t have to pay a sitter to care for our kids.

The downside is that it means I am gone every weekend. I don’t know if you have noticed, but most fun events are scheduled on a weekend. Birthdays parties, graduation parties, weddings, church, Robert’s racing and most get togethers in general. Working the shift I do means that I miss out on a lot of the fun things in life that are happening.

Calendar

Tuesday evening my daughter had her kindergarten musical. I was unable to attend because of work, and I only have so much vacation time. I have missed countless musicals, holidays. I haven’t seen my children on a Mother’s Day in 3 years! What I have gotten instead is four denied requests for time off. I was unable to go with my daughter to her out of town volleyball tournament.

I dream of a day when I make my hours, when I no longer have anyone telling me when I can and can’t take vacation time, when I am allowed to have a break.

4year

There is a book called The Four Year Plan by Richard Bliss Brooke. It is all about network marketing. It is about investing a small amount of money into this industry, and working hard for four years, then having the ability at the end of those four years to be able to retire with a residual income, a substantial one at that.

Abundance check2

The thing is this: four years will pass anyway. At the end of those four years, do I still want to keep working hard at a J-O-B (just over broke) where I am told when I am allowed to take time with my family? Or do I prefer to be financially independent, and able to retire and enjoy my family?

I feel it is well worth my time and effort to work on the latter. I want to be financially well off and debt free. I want freedom in my time, to be able to take vacations, to be present for all the big moments in my kids and someday grandkids’ lives.

If you, too, would like to see a better outcome at the end of your next four years than the path you are currently on allows, please contact me. Better yet, click the Get Started button below, and I will be in touch!

It is time to pursue the life of your dreams!

Your Perfect Day

Suppose you woke up tomorrow with no obligations, nothing on your to-do list that must be done.

IMG_20120925_234513

Just a day that you are able to do anything you want. What does that day look like? What is your idea of a perfect day?

Would you sleep in then go hang out at the beach all day? Would you spend the day fishing? Maybe you would spend your day passing out stuffed animals to kids at the children’s hospital. Perhaps a day at the science museum with your kids is what you are looking for. Need a romantic day away with your love? Spending a day learning more about a passion of yours from someone you admire?

BirthBooks

What is included in your perfect day? I want to hear about your vision for a perfect day. Click the link to the right to go to my facebook page and tell me about it. I promise to read each post. I would love to hear your vision of a perfect day.

Next I want you to imagine what life would be like if you were able to have many more perfect days, not just the one.

This is truly possible with the Young Living opportunity! There are many people in their 20’s and 30’s who are retiring from their day jobs thanks to the income they are earning from Young Living. Obviously, it is not just young people retiring, there are people of all age groups that are able to retire because they caught a vision of all that was possible, and were willing to work hard for it.

Abundance costume

So… I want you to start imagining what your days will be like when you are living a life of no regrets. What will you be doing each day in your (early) retired life? Be sure to hop onto the facebook page and tell me all about it! I can’t wait to hear!

Blessings,

Start With Why

Why on earth would I want to do I want to start a Young Living business?

For as long as I can remember, well, since shortly after I graduated high school, I have wanted to be a stay at home mom. That was my number one goal: to be around to be the person raising my babies.

PregWRiley

Eventually though, I met the love of my life who happened to have 4 kids! I began to realize that being a stay at home mom was not a reality in our situation. My family needs my paycheck.

When I first heard about Young Living, I wanted the oils. I was adamant that a business was not for me! Then I started talking to people: real people, people I knew, who were making very good money from sharing the essential oils they loved. As I started looking at the average amounts that people were making at different ranks within the company, I knew that paychecks of that size were not likely to come from an average job, or at least not without a significant amount of schooling which would equal more time away from my family.

IMG_20121010_173545

So here is a business opportunity in which I am able to meet new people, to help people, and to make a significant amount more money than I have ever made in my life.

This requires a significant amount of time and effort, but eventually I will be rewarded! I will be able to leave a “regular full-time job.’ I will be my own boss, with hours that I decide upon; which leads to the most important thing: I will be home with my babies! I will be home to raise my children, and if I am not there, Robert will be there.

MoreGoodDad

Being able to work from home, and make a significant income is such a blessing! Raising my babies the way that I want them raised is possible for my family thanks to Young Living!

If this sounds like something you would like for your family, please get in contact with me. I would love to help you get there!

Start with why: why do you want to be your own boss?

Blessings,
