Liebster Awards!

I have been nominated by Toddlers on Tour for a Liebster Award. Thanks so much! I am honored that you thought of me!

What’s that? You say.

The Liebster Award is a nomination to bloggers from fellow bloggers who believe that their fellow blogger is writing some good stuff, but their name might not be that well-known. So this award is a great way to get your name out there.

The Liebster Award Rules are as follows:

Thank the blogger who gave it to you including a link back to their website.
Answer the eleven questions they ask you.
Nominate eleven bloggers with less than 500 followers.
Ask those eleven bloggers eleven questions.
Let those bloggers know that they have been nominated so they can continue the chain.

Here were my questions:

In what area of your life, has life changed the most since having kid/s?
Oh goodness! I was a follower before. I believed that rules were meant to be followed. I never ever would have questioned anything my doctor at the time said. Now I question everything and have learned to trust my gut far more that I used to.

How old are your children?
I have 6 kids: 19, 18, 17, 15, 5, 1. I only gave birth to the youngest two, but I love all of those kiddos.

Where was your last family holiday and how long did you travel for?
With everyone was about 5 years ago to visit my cousin for July 4th. We were there three or four days.

What is the most difficult part of travelling with children?
The most difficult part is this impatience in getting there. Oh and the bickering in such tight quarters!

What is the best part about travelling with children?
Having new fun experiences together.

What did you wish you packed, but forgot?
Haha, I went with two kids on a short trip and forgot my natural toothpaste. I tried to use my kids’ crest. It was gross! We had to find a health food store so I could buy more!

What do you enjoy doing with your children when you travel?
They love swimming, so that is always part of the plan. I like to visit kid friendly museums and other attractions. I also love to eat!

What type of family holiday do you prefer: camping, self-contained, resorts. Why?
I am a hotel kind of gal! I am not an outdoorsy type. I am an enjoy my comforts type!

Which do you prefer a road trip or flight?
Each has its benefits, but apparently my kids are scared to fly!

What are your child’s favourite items/toys to take when travelling?
They haven’t had them before, but mp3 players with headphone and the LeapPad and NintindoDS just to keep the kiddos occupied.

What is the best advise you could give fellow parents about travel with kids?
Take your StressAway essential oil and remember it is an experience togther. Perfection is usually unrealistic.

Here are my nominees:
1. Cazily Normal
2. Life in the Wilde
3. Melting Moments
4. Happy at Home
5. Cooking Up Faith

6. Poofy Heiney

7. Lemonberry Fluff

My questions for the nominees:

1. How long have you been blogging?

2. How long have you been a mom?

3. What changes have been most surprising since becoming a mom?

4. What made you start blogging?

5. What is your favorite childhood memory?

6. What is your favorite memory with your children?

7. What are some of your favorite things to do when not blogging?

8. What are the ages of your children?
