Meeting People: Wellness

In my most recent post, I talked about Young Living as a way of meeting great like-minded people. There was a time in my life that I would have been saying, and maybe you are saying it now, who cares? Why do I need Young Living to meet new people? I can meet people anywhere.

Sure you can meet people anywhere. How are those people going to impact you though? Will they encourage the wellness you desire? Do they see greatness in you, and are they going to help you achieve greatness? Not everyone you meet will. You need people, good people. You aren’t meant to do life alone. No matter how introverted you are, you still need people. As an introvert myself, I love my alone time. I cherish it (hence I am up ALONE at 12:30am typing alone and enjoying the quiet).

YL Convention 2015

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another – and all the more as you see the day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25

Love and good deed are what we are to strive for. It seems in the verse that meeting together and encouraging each other are an important part of that.

Doing small things alone is simple. The big goals are different. The significant needs in your life are, well, more significant. These situations require a solid base of people who think and believe what you think and believe.

When striving for a life of wellness, you need to surround yourself with people who care for their health. You need people who are mindful in regards to what they eat. You need people who value fitness and make it a priority. You need people who research their decisions.

young living mission statement, wellness, purpose, abundance

Young Living has a mission statement and truly desires its members to have wellness, purpose, and abundance. It all starts with wellness.

Young Living allows you to meet people who will look at you, and listen to your excuses. Then, the right people, the ones you and I need, will call you on those excuses and tell you to do it anyway.

That is one of the things I love about Sara Wallace. She is not afraid to go on facebook live and do a video regarding an excuse she is seeing you (and probably many others) make. She probably won’t mention your name, but sometimes you just know that someone is speaking to you.

wellness is a lifestyle

Wellness is a lifestyle, and truthfully, it is a difficult one when bombarded daily with the typical American lifestyle and diet. That is exactly why you need people in your life. You need people to encourage you treat your body like a temple. You need people to spur you on toward wellness. You need people who see the greatness in you, and desire to help you achieve it.

Get these people in your life! Let Young Living help you on your path to wellness.
